Post Workout Recovery Take Advantage Hardgainers!
By:Almost every time I hit the gym there are guys pushing themselves to beyond their limits face red and all the grunting is another story! Really these guys look like theyre in pain with their veins sticking out and their posse screaming workout slogans while all this is going on! One guy in particular really comes to mind when I think of all of them his name was Dan. It didnt matter whether it was morning noon or night he was always there talk about an obsession. In fact he lost his girlfriend and flunked out of school all because of his workout obsession. I am relatively certain that he had no clue what muscle growth through post workout recovery was!
Now I was no expert on the building muscle thing especially since I was a skinny guy well except around the middle! I did however have a special little remembrance of biology and that day in class when we learned how muscles really grow! I put this theory to test in the gym workout hard ate right and rested in between times. I began seeing muscle growth lost the belly and put on a little weight (in the right spots)! All because I followed a post workout recovery!
All that means is that when you begin working out your stressing your muscles. This stress is more than the tissue can stand so it tears. These tiny little tears are then mended and rebuilt through the recovery process that our body goes through when we rest. Ever heard that you need your beauty sleep well this is what their talking about. The body sends nutrients and special chemicals to build these muscles bigger stronger and able to handle more!
So while Dan spent all that time in the gym and fell to every fad in the book I was resting. My 8 hours of sleep per night along with those intense workouts really sparked the muscle growth that I had been looking for my whole life. In the past I have tried everything from supplements fad diets isolation exercise and exhausting myself in the gym every day with nothing to show. I start resting and theres my new ripped body! Amazing!
Take it from me; all those nights in the gym and grunting will not get the results you want unless you are following a post workout recovery plan. Rest your body between workouts and get your sleep every night results will follow.
